Works fantastic. Very heavy construction and several different gauges of gate chains will work with the latches.
Finally, something that the goats can't figure out how to open! My fencing is not fancy and trying to find a secure latch for a wooden jump gate (for the lgd access) to a tee post has been impossible. This latch is easy for me to access with one hand and the goats haven't been able to get it open. It's a win-win for me. As I expand fencing, I will definitely get more of these!

I like the idea of the design, however, Im still finding it difficult to open and close it using only one hand. That is what I have been looking for.
Exactly as described. Installed first one on a railroad tie for main gate. LOVE IT. Fits chain perfect. We'll buildt item.
The metal portion is very heavyweight, stong. The chain is adequate for most livestock. However the screw on attachment that allows the chain to be secured to the post portion is poor. I will replace them will a robust link.
will not be able to attach it until spring . It is larger and heavier than I thought it would be and should work wonderfully . Would have given four stars if it came with bolts. I also bought four sets of the chains with latches and they are heavy duty but the latch style makes them a lot easier to use then the ones on my corral panels.
Just installed a few days ago, so far they work well and are easier to operate than they spring loaded latches we have been using.
I don't have to worry about a frozen lock any more, this is a great invention, I love this product.

Great item. Very well built. Only negative is with came with bolts to mount or offer as option. Holes are a little to large for wood Screws. But overall Very happy with. Also glad he is a Veteran as I am and try to truly support veteran business. Respectfully
